A proud member of the Haitian community, Kettie graduated from Boston Public Schools Department of Adult Education with dreams of being the first person in her family to attend college.
Dedicated to her studies, earning mostly A’s and B’s, her hard work has led to a milestone that means a great deal to both her and her family. Inspired by her family’s unwavering support and strong work ethic, Kettie has embraced every opportunity to succeed and is determined to make them proud.
A First Literacy scholarship made it possible for Kettie to attend Bunker Hill Community College to study Radiologic Technology and pursue a career in healthcare. Kettie has faced challenges that tested her determination, but each obstacle has strengthened her resilience and reinforced her commitment to achieving her goals.
